Baucham, Dr. Voddie

About Dr. Voddie Baucham

Voddie Baucham is a pastor, professor, author, conference speaker and church planter.  He is one of the most sought-after Bible teachers of his generation.  He is as comfortable leading a bible study in his home with two or three families as he is preaching before thousands, or lecturing on college campuses.  Known as one of the ‘architects’ of the contemporary Family Integrated Church movement, Dr. Baucham is frequently sought out by pastors, professors and church planters working to understand the FIC phenomenon.  His book, Family Driven Faith has helped shape the contemporary discussion about family discipleship and family integrated ministry.

FAMILY

He and his wife, Bridget have been married since 1989.  They are avid readers, avid travelers, and avid food connoisseurs.  They have five children, Jasmine, Trey, Elijah, Asher and Judah.  Unable to have more children after Jasmine and Trey, Voddie and Bridget began to pursue the expansion of their family through adoption.  They adopted Elijah in 2004, Asher in 2007, and Judah in 2008.  They hope to adopt several more children in the coming years.  The Bauchams have been committed home educators since 1999.

O Lord, my passion is that we would be an aggressively God-loving, Bible saturated, Spirit-filled, racially diverse church that would seek relentlessly to know and proclaim the excellencies of Christ for the glory of God and the joy of all people. Help us keep our first love, help us strive to obey the great commission to go into all the world boldly preaching the Gospel and making disciples, and help us to search out the needy, the orphans and the widows as Christ Himself instructed us and showed us by His perfect life.

About Mark Escalera

“I Corinthians 10:31 says, ‘Whether you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.’ I have tried to make this verse my focus because I believe there is no better life to live than the one in which God gets the glory.”

Pastor Mark, who has pastored in England and the USA, continues, “Our desire is that others will see Christ in us the hope of glory. Our verse-by-verse teaching seeks to help others to learn to be more like Christ today than they were yesterday, and more like Him tomorrow than they are today! Serving and living for Christ is exciting.
